2020 : 28 – 31 August, A Visit to the Fairest Cape,
Cape Town, South Africa
The international event for 2020 will take place in South Africa, in late August and early September (post-conference tours). The Cape Horticultural Society extends an invitation to their fellow members within MGi to visit the south-western corner of Africa – from the Namaqua National Park to Cape Agulhas, with the Conference being held in Cape Town – and lots more in between.
The event will start with a pre-conference tour to Namaqualand 23 – 27 August, followed by the main event based in Cape Town from Friday 28th to Monday 31st August. Speakers will include Cherise Viljoen, Roger Stewart and Mary van Blommestein.
There will be visits to both private and public gardens – reflecting a wide variety of plant communities. These will include The Company’s Garden, Green Point Biodiversity Park, Babylonstoren – and plenty more within the Cape Peninsula and beyond. For more details, click the links below:
